For many families in rural Sierra Leone, a nutritious meal featuring meat is a rare occurrence, as 65% of the population find it financially unattainable. The Qurbani season brings a glimmer of hope to these communities. Through the generosity of our partners—including UK Islamic Mission and Alkhidmat Welfare UK.. Islamic Dawah Training Centre is able to turn this hope into reality. Each Eid ul Adha, Islamic dawah Training Centre transform lives by distributing 5kg packages of fresh meat to more than 500 vulnerable households, ensuring that orphans, the elderly, and people with disabilities can celebrate the Eid ul Adha holiday with dignity and nourishment.
